Last Updated: Friday 9th of July 2010 01:26:00 AM -0600MDTAt least 15, 336 heads of cattle will be vaccinated against some typical diseases in Chongoroi, in Benguela City, by the local veterinary services during the campaign that started last Tuesday.
Speaking Thursday to ANGOP, the head of the local veterinary service, Alfredo de Castro, guaranteed that all technical and human conditions are created, as well as it is available 16,000 doses of vaccines to grant the success of the campaign which will run until August.
She said that the immunisation work currently takes place only at the head office of the district, counting on 2 brigades and equal number of technicians.
Meanwhile in Cubal, the veterinarian services vaccinated already 2,312 heads of cattle against symptomatic anthrax and contagious peri-pneumonia during the campaign that runs as from the first half of May.
